2. Visa-free is applicable to the following visitors of Chinese nationality who hold legally valid travel documents for entry into/ departure from Macao:
a) Residents from Mainland China (for a period of up to 30 days)
b) Hong Kong SAR residents holding:
(i) Hong Kong Identity Card with symbols “*”, “***”, or “R”,
(ii) Hong Kong Permanent Resident Identity Card, or
(iii) Return Permit
(for a period of up to 1 year)
c) Taiwan residents (for a period of up to 30 days)
