Applicants who satisfy all of the following conditions are eligible for the Visit Permit for Residents of Macao SAR to Hong Kong SAR (hereafter referred as Visit Permit to HK SAR):

• Chinese or Portuguese citizen and resident of Macao SAR;
• Holders of Macao SAR Permanent Resident Identity Card or Macao SAR Non-Permanent Resident Identity Card.

  　

Please submit the following documents:

• The original of Macao SAR Permanent Resident Identity Card, or Macao SAR Non-Permanent Resident Identity Card;
• 2 recent 1.5-inch colour photographs with a WHITE background, which should be taken full face and without a hat;
• The original of Salvo-Conduto, if holding;
• The original of Visit Permit to HK SAR, in case of renewal;
• The official report-lost slip, if the applicant cannot submit the original of Visit Permit to HK SAR;
• The photocopies of both parents' or legal guardians' documents of identification if the applicant is under the age of 18, and both parents or legal guardian should sign in the application form:
  1. If either parent of the applicant is single, separated with separated property, or divorced, the father or mother should prove his/her parental power in application.
  2. If either parent cannot sign the application form, the other parent should present related documents, authorization letter or equivalent documents.
• In addition, Visit Permit to HK SAR is issued as individual document, the applicant's spouse and children should apply for their own Visit Permits.

If being in Macao, the applicant should apply in person in the Identification Department (hereafter referred as DSI).

• For application of Visit Permit to HK SAR, MOP 100.00 is charged.

• 5 working days from the date of application.

• Visit Permit to HK SAR is valid for 7 years, in which its holder can visit the HK SAR on multiple occasions.

• Holders of the Visit Permit to HK SAR can stay in the HK SAR for 14 days.
