The Identification Department of the Government of the Macao SAR was
informed by the Honorary Vice-Consul of the Consulate of the Republic of
Kiribati (Hong Kong) that with immediate effect, holders of the Macao
Special Administrative Region Passport and Travel Permit are granted visa
free access to the Republic of Kiribati for visit of up to 30 days per trip.

   The Consulate of the Republic of Kiribati (Hong Kong) and the Government
of the Macao SAR hope that the mutual visa-exemption will further promote
business, social and tourism ties between Kiribati and the MSAR.

   Passport holders of the Republic of Kiribati have been able to enter
the Macao SAR without a visa for max. thirty days.
