  Effective from 15 October 2025, all travellers (including Macao SAR Passport holders) entering Sri Lanka for tourism or business purposes are required to obtain a valid Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) prior to their arrival to Sri Lanka. Please refer to https://eta.gov.lk/slvisa/ for details. Macao SAR passport holders can enter Sri Lanka visa-free for up to 30 days by selecting Chinese as their nationality when applying for the ETA.
