  The UK Government introduced its Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) scheme for passengers visiting or transiting the UK (including persons who are granted visa free privilege). Starting from 8th January 2025, Macao SAR Passport holders are required to possess ETAs for travel to the UK. Please refer to https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta for details. Macao SAR Passport holders are recommended to enquire the relevant arrangements and situation with the Consulate General of UK in Hong Kong.
