The Identification Department of the Government of the Macao SAR was
informed by the Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania in Beijing
that, with immediate effect, holders of Macao SAR Passports are granted
visas upon arrival at Tanzanian entry points.

   The Government of Tanzania is studying the proposal of the Identification
Department about mutual visa-exemption.  But before the privilege comes
into effect, holders of Macao SAR Passports are granted visas upon arrival
by the Tanzanian Government for facilitating visit to Tanzania.

   Tanzania is the second country, next to Croatia, that issues visa upon
arrival to holders of Macao SAR Passports.
