Federative Republic of Brazil Grants Visa-free Access to the Holders of Macao SAR Passport

The Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) and the Government of
the Federative Republic of Brazil have agreed that holders of the Macao SAR Passport are exempted
from visa requirements when entering the Federative Republic of Brazil for a stay of maximum 90 days.

On the basis of reciprocity, nationals of the Federative Republic of Brazil are also
exempted from visa requirements when entering the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) for
a stay of maximum 90 days.

The above-mentioned arrangement has been effective since 24th March 2006.

The Government of the Macao SAR and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil
expect that mutual exemption of visa requirements will further promote bilateral ties of business,
trade and tourism.

At present, a total of 69 countries and territories have agreed to grant visa-free access
or visa on arrival to Macao SAR Passport holders; while 7 countries have agreed to grant visa-free
access to Macao SAR Travel Permit holders.
