Self-service Application of Permanent Resident Identity Card Renewal
Applicant Eligibilities for 24-hour Self-service Application:
- Possessing a Macao SAR Permanent Resident Identity Card;
- Aged 25 or above on the latest issuance date of identity card.
Applicant Eligibilities for Self-service Application in Office Hours:
- Possessing a Macao SAR Permanent Resident Identity Card;
-Aged 5 or above on the latest issuance date of identity card.
Please note that:
Eligible applicants can use the self-service kiosk to renew their resident identity card as early as 6 months before it expires or after its expiry.
Applicants may choose to use the photograph taken on-site at no cost or submit a photo taken at a photography studio within the last 6 months (Photograph Specifications) or use the photograph for identification documents taken by a contracted photography studio and stored in “My Photo” of the “Macao One Account” as the identity card photo.
Underage applicants have to be accompanied by their parent or guardian who is holding the Macao SAR resident identity card when lodging the application.
The self-service kiosks are not applicable to applicants under the following conditions. They are required to obtain a number tag and lodge their applications at service counters.
Modify personal data (except address, telephone number, occupation and emergency contact);
Loss of identity card (proof of loss is required);
An interdicted or quasi-interdicted person.
Payment Method:
GovPay, UnionPay App and Mpay are accepted for payment.
