Agreement between the Government of the
Macau Special Administrative Region and the Government of the
Republic of Namibia on Mutual Exemption of Visa Requirements

The Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region and the
Government of the Republic of Namibia signed an Agreement on Mutual
Exemption of Visa Requirements on 27 July 2001.
Effective from the date of signing, holders of passport or travel
permit of the Macao Special Administrative Region and hold return or
onward tickets, exempted from visa requirements for entry into, exit from
or transit through Namibia for the purpose of tour, visiting relatives and
business. The duration of stay in Namibia for each visit shall be maximum
30 days and the accumulative duration of stay during one calendar year
should not exceed 90 days.
The nationals of the Republic of Namibia are also able to enter the
Macau SAR without a visa for maximum 30 days.
The Government of the Republic of Namibia and the Government of the
Macao Special Administrative Region hope that the signing of Agreement on
mutual visa exemption, would promote economic and trade development, and
facilitate personnel movement between Namibia and Macau.
